[MIXTAPE] DJ Ames & Antagonist - International

Don’t look at me while you’re riddling over WHO THE FUCK IS THIS & WHY THE FUCK DID I POST THIS, cause this totally looks like a clear case of FTSwindle, but trust me, I’ve kept this mixtape in my Downloads folder for a couple of days to give it an honest listen, then I did, and I realized this right here was no trash at all!
I was particularly pleased by the use of an Ozzy Osbourne sample (yeah I’ma sucker for rock samples) on one of the tracks, and the mix of Florida & UK hip-hop seemed pretty nice anyway.
Why I stumbled upon this is a different story, because this was the first time in my blogging career that I actually received an e-mail from an actual publicist. A lil’ something bout Ant & DJ Ames:
DJ Ames, who is presenting Antagonist’s mixtape, has taken the industry by storm since 2006 by making a sudden and swift impact working with the industry’s upper brass including Flipmode Squad, Grand Hustle, Aphilliates Embassy ENT (AMG), and has produced over 200 mixtape releases. In 2008, Ames flew to Atlanta to work with Aphilliates Music Group, and was nominated for the Southern Entertainment Awards.
“International,” is Antagonist’s fifth release this year, which continues to combine both his Southern California roots and southern influences in his vocal delivery and production work.
Antagonist has released four mixtapes this year that have received 500,000 downloads/plays/views, and airplay on thirty internet radio stations based in 96 countries through Slip N Slide DJs, and has been played and picked up by 300 plus websites, blogs, e-zines, and forums, worldwide. He has also had 300,000 hits on promotional sites such as Facebook, Twitter, My Space, and Garageband. Antagonist has thirteen years of experience producing, engineering, and song-writing, with a 600-song catalogue and 10,000 hours as a certified audio engineer.
Check it out. I won’t promise y’all this is a breakthrough, but this IS a solid record nevertheless. It might easily feel like something even more worthwhile to you! I just feel bad for the duke who got so much material, but seems to be slow with success. Well, KiD CuDi on the other hand…
