WOW, I’m back, it’s been a while but I’ll have this thing going!
Now, about 10 months ago these guys dropped a video for “Ridin” by Young Righchus, which was made with a $42 budget and was brilliant, for that money especially. The video went on to show on BET.com and won awards at the Indie Grits Film Festival.
Taylor has contacted me now, because they have shot another video which looks like a masterpiece again, but so far we only get a trailer for it! Enjoy and be on the lookout cause the full video is coming soon on September 18th!
You can also check out the behind the scenes footage from the video shoot over here.
Jim Jonsin on the beat means guaranteed pop appeal for the record, no mater who on the vocals. And Dro is nice with it, so this the shit that must be blasting in your car right now, and crushing dance floors all over the world! The hook part is sick! I can’t do nothing about my love for this kind of music. At least this ain’t Soulja Boy (tho Pronto was my shit for the production, YIKES!).
What’s up everyone (anyone?), way too many thing have been going on recently, but you know I still listen to a lot of stuff, I just wanted people to know I am still here and planning to keep this going.
But first of all, let me just say:
R.I.P. MICHAEL JACKSON
It’s hard to explain why he had such an influence on me, a kid from Russia who was only one year old when “Thriller” came out. But this man could heal my soul whenever his music played. Impossible to understand if you’re not a music maniac, but I am sure a lot of people understand me. Of course I hope he didn’t die, just left the spot like he should’ve, cuz legends don’t die they get chubby and move to Miami or wherever they go. I hope he went to some island in the Pacific and we could actually meet some day. I know it’s crazy to hope to ever become as great as he was, I most definitely do not possess such a talent and vibe to shine on people with this God’s gift, but damn, he inspires me to crush mountains and whatever obstacles! We all should be grateful for having such a person on this planet. Fuck people trying to talk about the “child molester” part like they were the ones who got molested or at saw that in person. Whatever happened, that is no way to talk about a such person, especially when he is dead. Thank you Michael, thank you God for sending us this man, his talent, his music. This is sad and amazing. Kings leave. There’s not too many of them left now. And they don’t make ‘em like they used to…
I kinda stumbled upon this great new band on Twitter where they got praised by some dude! I know it’s probably nothing new, the melody, all that, BUT… still can’t help but like it a lot. And the video is great. Why an unknown band has such a great video and multiplatinum rappers got shitty videos? And the idea behind the lyrics is great, I can easily relate to that! Well, I am slowly shifting away from hip-hop genres again, as I also got crazy (and late with it) about Mayer Hawthorne. But that’s another story. Now watch!
I know I’ve been sleeping hard on R-Les, but I’m glad I realized it now. Just listen to this track, it’s amazing, it’s so funky, I doubt you will NOT start dancing to it right off the first chords. The fact that he also produces his own music adds up a lot to the dopeness, of course. A must, people, this shit right here is straigh up the music that should be heard and praised.
So like I told y’all mofos when the BIG talk about swine flu is over, shit’s gon be different. I’ve been kinda busy, and lazy too lately, had two shows recently, got some dope plans AS USUAL ya know, but let’s get to what we got today.
I wanna share some dope music with y’all, while very soon I’ll be hitting this blog with two absolutely HARDBODY joints that 100% guaranteed gon blow y’all the eff away!!
But tonight the dopeness is coming from the boy Donnis straight out of ATL, ya know we support Donnis outchea on the pages of Finanshall Times, besides I think his Snack Pack stuff got little shine on other blogs, while what he does is very fresh! Also check out the very cool videos he has posted on his official site, you gotta respect the kid for dropping videos for freestyles and they ain’t shot on a phone camera with no concept or editing LOL. Watch out for the kid. It’s too bad he don’t drop shit that often and has yet to have an album planned (at least that’s what I know).
Enjoy, and remember to check Finanshall Times out cuz we coming back in a minute and we got some dope-ass joints to serve y’all!
OK kids, sorry I’ve been slacking on posts (that’s how prolly the last posts on any dying blog start with LOL), I’ve been kinda busy with stuff, recording a lot these days, got some crazy shit coming and you’d better get it when it’s out!!
Here’s a brand new treat for y’all, the remix I’ve been sittin on for a couple of months, but today it hit me, I re-recorded it and added a dope second verse to it, so cop it while it’s HOT!! Thank you Chromeo for being such an amazing band, P-Thugg’s music & David’s singing can make any song absolutely fantastic!!
This girl is funny as shit throughout the whole vid, but I especially like the very beginning! Uncoached got many more, shout out to them, they got mad funny (& sexy) material for days!
Self-made photo of an annonymous Miami Beach hottie oiled to the MAX!
Y’all ready? Cuz I am. I don’t know how long this FLU DE SWINE series are gonna last, I suppose it may die not long after they come up with a vaccine for the disease. Until then it’s ON. Just like the god lady in the pic above and the songs I wanna introduce y’all to are:
Once again FLU DE SWINE is never complete without a French Montana track. It’s off that Mac Wit Da Cheese mixtape, so it only proves that it is full of gems, I suggest you cop it right away. Whenever I hear this pumped up joint I go dumb and start bobbing my head like crazy. This piano is off the HOOK! Frenchy’s flow is very entertaining! »>
I’m not sure how well this was received in the clubs, I didn’t get the impession it was received at all, well, it’s a shame, because Shawty Redd, the man behind the boards on half of Jeezy’s Thug Motivation 101 and the one responsible for Snoop’s megahit “Sexual Eruption”, created a hypnotic anthem to club hopping that is EXTREMELY trunk bass-friendly! »>
Day after day the D.C./Maryland hip-hop scene is building up it’s fan base. A.B. The Producer, among the plethora of dope MC’s and beatmakers, stands out as a very pop-oriented and versatile musician. He actually has a very tight mixtape with Mick Boogie (!) called “Producer’s Credit”, which needs to be on your iPods right now, but if you’re not sure whether you should cop it or not, try this dope joint with Nando first »>
Okay let’s slow it down for today, I bet you don’t even download anything I post here, I don’t check, but it’s good to share anyway. I leave you with fantasizing about sliding on that oil.
A truly amazing video from the magic duo called “Christian Rich”, this time it’s a less fierce record, although the video itself is quite dark and gloomy. Modi suggests everyone think about the symbolism in the video and how it all connects. I def see a lot of symbolism, but I can’t see how it all connects within this video, I mean, it looks like a couple of great ideas sticking together well enough and performed with a good deal of professionalism, but where it all really goes - I don’t know. Maybe you got a clue? The comments section is below! Enjoy the video.
